This is going to be a similar day to Thursday.

1.     For exam and OSSLT preparation, students will write a News Report of about 50 words for a picture they will see on the course website on Tuesday, June 18

2.     The News Report is to be mailed to the teacher at Chesserhandin1 at gmail.com by the end of the period

Ok ... here's the pic you have to write a News Report on. Make sure to have two quotes and a good lead sentence for this News Report!

Friday and Monday June 17

We did a bit of exam preparation for this course.

We also watched the movie ... on Monday we got to the last few minutes of the film.

Thursday June 13

Tuesday and Wednesday

Tuesday was the last day of the CCA

Wednesday .. so help me, I was trying to get things done and everything went on me today.

We did a bit of OSSLT prep and a bit of exam prep. We will be doing the same tomorrow

Monday June 10

This was also a CA Day.

Tomorrow ... Tuesday is the last day for this CA.

Friday June 7

It was a CA Day.

Wed and Thursday June 6

Wednesday was the last quiz we are going to do in this course - the second quiz on Merchant of Venice. I have to admit, it. Was a fairly quick unit as units go ... I’m going to chalk that up to the numbers of classes missed in February and March due to storms.

I digress.

Thursday was the first day of the Culminating Activity for this course. We got our outlines and our working materials together today. It was a rather odd day for me as I forgot my laptop at home. A weird day, to be sure.

We were asked to not bring any electronic devices to class each of these four days. Thursday June 6 and Friday June. 7 and Monday June. 10 and Tuesday June 11 there are no electronic devices allowed in class ... thanks!

Anyway ... it went smoothly and everyone did at least a little work on the CA. Glad to see that.

Tuesday June 4

So we finished Merchant today.  We got question 9 and 10 for Act 4 and from Act 5 we got 4 and 5.

Tomorrow is June 5th. Stuff is due.

And then we are moving on to the Culminating Activity for the course.

Monday June 3

Well, we did the trial scene today.

We got questions from Act 4 today - 1, 2, 3, 6 and 7 for the journal.

It was a loud day, too ... we had a Elementary schools track and field meet outside of the portable. And lawnmowers on the toehr side. Quite a day.

Friday May 31

And so today ... we have three days left until the CA starts.

As a reminder, the CA will be June 6, 7 and 10 and 11th.

In any case, we studied a bit of the play and got a new worksheet of questions to work on.

Questions from Act III are 1, 4, 7 and 13

And I checked on questions that should have come in yesterday. Some still owe.

As we move forward I'll be adding other links that should help there as well.
